07:38, jer ples…

Manifest
I danced
- I danced against the odds
-
I danced with time running out
-
I danced through the lies
-
I danced with and without expectations
-
I danced in the midst of war
- I danced surrounded by governments
-
I danced over the boundaries
-
I danced in the face of accusations
-
I danced polluted by other peoples stares
-
I danced heartless and cold
I danced in sickness & in health
-
I danced till death do us part
-
I danced for the better times
-
I danced into destruction
into tunnels and tunnels of uncertain futures
-
I danced even when you said no!
-
I danced occupied in a small room
-
I danced beating my foot on the concrete that destroyed me
-
I danced not believing
-
I danced recklessly
-
I danced hoping mercy would come
-
I danced for rain
-
I danced selflessly
-
I danced recklessly
-
I danced!
-
I danced!
-
I danced through the hail of knives
-
I danced in the fields
-
I danced with the victims of human stupidity
-
I danced asking for nothing
- I danced assuming it would mean something
-
I danced even when it didn’t
- I danced wrapped in sweat, heat and exhaustion
- I danced so I could give up
- I danced so everyone could see
-
I danced till the scars on my soul reopened
- I danced to summon
-
I danced to lead
- I danced to correct
- I danced to succeed
-
I danced to warn
-
I danced to smite
-
I danced to seize
-
I danced to fight
-
I danced!
- I danced!
-
I danced!
-
And, I danced as a testimony
-
I danced as a crime
-
I danced not knowing the place and the motherfuckin’ time
- I danced right into murders and decrepit faces of those who lost
-
I danced next to the World
- I danced paying the maximum cost
-
I danced so there would be no leaders
-
I danced as an illusion
-
I danced for ideals
-
I danced for pity
-
I danced for pity
-
I danced against all odds
- I danced so I don’t dance
-
I danced so I can re-earn my right to be an important part
in this whole charade
-
I danced!
-
I danced!
-
I danced for miles and miles of open negotiation
-
I danced while being raped
- I danced as an invitation to a high-class hooker dinner party
-
I danced to be baptized
I danced to redeem
-
I danced to exceed
- I danced through pain
-
I danced through pressure
-
I danced through pain
-
I danced through pressure
-
I danced so the can add insult to injury
-
I danced praying I’d see the death of this whole nation
- I danced nowhere so that anywhere could become the center of somewhere
-
I danced in the buildings they call “theaters”
- I danced on the docks
- I danced!
-
I danced!
- I danced for retribution
-
I danced page after page, line after line
-
I danced when asleep
-
I danced out in the wild
- I danced so I don’t become
-
I danced loud
-
I danced until my moves became seizures
and the had me committed to a loony bin
- I danced because I owe it to myself
-
I danced to be politically incorrect
- I danced till I got too tired to dance
- I danced till I couldn’t dance no more
-
But I danced!
-
But I danced!
-
I danced!
-
I danced so I can earn money
I danced so I can apply
-
I danced as a seal and a signature
An envelope filled with hope
-
I danced so I could proudly wear a clerk suit someday
- I danced till I lost all signs of being a human being a human being
-
I danced so I could be rated
- I danced for a fee
-
I danced so I can fulfill a quota
-
I danced over and over and over and over again and it was never enough
-
I danced so I can justify the money given
-
I danced!
- I danced!
- And I danced!
-
I danced!
-
I danced!
- And I stopped!
